Navisworks 2014 Hotfix Released

A hotfix for Navisworks 2014 has been released from Autodesk to resolve an issue with Manage and Simulate that may force Navisworks to close unexpectedly when refreshing a NWF file.

The hotfix can be downloaded here: FYI, be sure that you have Navisworks 2014 Service Pack 1 installed.

We'd like to invite our Navisworks users to our Ivanov beta program. This is great chance to get early access to our next software release, understand how the new features can benefit your workflows and provide us with input, feedback and suggestions for improvement. Future of Construction?


​While at the BIMForum in Denver, I have seen some pretty amazing uses of prefab and modularization - though I am tired of the health care examples.

What really stuck me as interesting is the use of pre-fab for parking garages and stadium that can be dis-assemblemed. Yeah, taken apart and moved. Click here to check out the video.
